SQL Server Databases
MediaPIG is built on SQL Server Express 2016 or higher.
Its a fast, free, reliable, powerful database system that allows for a smooth multi-user experience.
MediaPIG could store any number of TV Shows, Episodes, Movies etc. per database, and even have many different databases each with different content. It is typically improbable to hit any performance or storage limitations under normal conditions.
Unlike other systems, MediaPIG is very portable, backup and restore friendly with some conditions.
Unlike other systems, MediaPIG can re-associate pathing should a drive be replaced, or master path be changed.
Profile Based for Multiple User Support
MediaPIG features a system to create additional configurable user accounts. User accounts can be assigned the same or different levels of access. Categories must be assigned per user account, however, you can reference the same media sets. Watched and favorite flags are saved per user profile..

Requires SQL Server Express to be pre-installed and configured for SQL Browser access
Demonstration illustrates running and watching MediaPIG content from a windows desktop PC. Normal usage is to connect various devices supported to your TV via HDMI cable supporting small and very large 80"+ TV devices.
